CHFP Fellows 2012 – 2014
Ms Anjum Bano is from Bhopal. After her post-graduation in Sociology, She started her career as Community Mobilizer with Nitya Sewa Society, Bhopal. Three years later she joined Bachpan (organization) as Cluster Coordinator in 2002 & continued as Supervisor in the organization working with the slum & Street children. She also gives training on different issues like Health, Gender, Child Rights, Adolescent girls & women’s health, rights & empowerment.
Mr Arun Singh Bhadoria a post-graduate in Social work is from Kolaras Block in Shivpuri District. He started his carrier with Centre for Integrated Development (CID). During 9 years of his work in social sector he has involved himself in different issues like Better life project, Right to Food Campaign, Behavior promotion program, Nirmal gram project & Behavior promotion communication program at various positions and capacities.
Mr Ajit Kumar an arts graduate comes from Semariya Block in District Sidhi. He also holds a Diploma on Radio Technician. He started his career as a social worker with Gram Sudhar Samitee in Sidhi since 2008. He worked on Targeted Intervention Project, raising awareness in the community on the issues of HIV / AIDS, referral system, Behavior change and condom promotion. He was also part of the campaign to promote schooling of children wherein he would meet parents of the drop-out children and give awareness about importance of education.
Ms. Candralekha Mishra a sociology graduate is from Panna district. She started her career with Gramin Vikas Samiti in Damoh as a community worker. She was involved in organization’s work which is focused on forming woman & youth girls groups and raise awareness on various issues including health awareness.
Mr Firdosh Khan is a social worker from Kolaras Block in Shivpuri. He started his career as a Cluster Coordinator at Center for Integrated Development (CID) in 2003, later continued as a superviso till 2007. In 2008 he registered his organization called “Miners’ Support in Development” and associated with Forest department for development for Tribal Livelihood and Village Planning under Gram Van Samiti. He participated in various training program and extending support to activities like micro planning in panchayats of kolaras block, selection of ASHA’s, and selection of panchayat animator.
Mr Jeevan Mewara a post-graduate in social work from Sehore. He started his career associating himself with various organizations in short-term assignments. He joined Arushi as Development Worker working with issues of disability. Also worked as a project coordinator in Targeted Intervention (HIV/AIDS) in Society to Serve at Sehore for 14 months. Before joining the fellowship programme he was working on the strengthening Panchayati Raj Institutions through woman empowerment and youth development with Samarthan.
Mr Jitendra Prajapati is an arts graduate from Shahpur block of Betul district. Started his carrier with short assignment in school education program with Muskaan in Betul. He also got himself associated with Poor Area Civil Society (PACS) program as field officer with NIWCYD, later he rejoined Muskaan and continued as community team member working on education, livelihood, health and gender issues in urban areas of Bhopal.
Mr Lalit Dubey is post-graduate in humanities from Bhopal. He has worked with various organizations since last 15 years. He is a freelance consultant in print and electronic media, also a theater artist associated with theater groups like Habib tanvir, Nadira baber & Preeti jain. Worked on land and livelihood problems supporting and promoting of folk song and culture of tribal’s with the Bandhavgarh lok Sewa Samiti He has also worked on different issues/programs like MP Rural livelihood programs and Right to Food Campaign, Target intervention Project, and “Swasthya Mitra Project”.
Mr Narendra Kelodia,is a post-graduate in social work from Ichhawar Block of Sehore district. He was involved in the micro planning process of Alirajpur district and women’s empowerment program through micro finance activities. He also has worked on sustainable agriculture activities through the formation of Farmers groups. His main area of interest is community mobilization for sustainable development and watershed program.
Ms Neeta Singh is a post-graduate in sociology and social work from Sehore. She has 4 years experience on HIV/AIDS with different user group. She also worked with Nehru Yuva sangathan on youth development additional to being a teacher of sociology and social science.
Mr Santosh Vishwakarma is a post-graduate in social work from Bhainsdehi Block of Betul District. His work is focused on social research, rural community development and livelihood project at micro and macro level in the both rural and urban developmental projects. He has contributed intensively to Rural and urban poverty eradication projects, he has conducted training program on midday meal for SHGs and training programme to community health workers in the different districts of Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh.
Mr Shafique khan holds postgraduation in Rural Technology Management and Sociology. He is from Dabra block of Gwalior district. He started his career as a supervisor in Nehru Yuva Kendra sangathan and has involved in various projects under different capcities. His major involvement has been in formulation and implementation of community based water and sanitation programme, capacity building and strengthening of local governance system for effective implementation of major government programme like RCH, NRHM, TSC and MNREGA.
Mr Shakti Rathi has masters in philosophy and comes from, Ichhawar Block of Sehore district. He was associated with the micro planning process involving ASHA and Village health and sanitation committees. He has also worked on Right to information and Reproductive health activities with youth groups using life skills education.
Mr Suphal Nand is a Lab technician from Chattisgarh. He started his career as pioneer crusader in “India Every Home Crusade” during 1992. Later he continued with Chetna Community Health and Development Project at The Duncan Hospital Raxaul, as a Multipurpose community Health Worker during for 3 Years and 6 years as a Lab Technician in Jan Swasthya Sahyog and Before Lakhnadon Christian Hospital as ICTC Lab Technician.
Mr Tulsiram Athya a post-graduate in political science is from Begumganj block, of Raisen. He started his career working with dalit and adivasi communities. While being a part of various people’s movements.He was the coordinator of the Indian Dalit Solidarity Committee during 2008-09. He also has his own ngo called Nav Srijan Samta Samaj Kalyan Samiti in Begumganj, Raisen.
Ms Uma Surothiya is a post-graduate in sociology from Bhopal. She has participated in various training programme on Health and Horticultural produce. She has done certificate course in graphic design and sketch animation. She is voluntarily associated with Madhaya Pradesh Vigyan Sabha (MPVS).
Ms Upkar Kaur is an arts graduate from Chhatarpur. Through “Samagra Vikas Mahila Samiti” Chattarpur she has trained SHGs on micro finance and Swarna Jayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana. She is also registered with Nehru Yuva Kendra for training youth groups training.
Mr Vimal Jat is a post-graduate from Harda district. He started his career with Madhya Pradesh Voluntary Health Association (MPVHA) as a trainee in maternal and child health program. He is a district trainer of Asha 6th and 7th Module. He was also associated with NFHS-3 Field testing. Presently he is working on health and development issues with Synergy Sansthan of Harda district.
Mr Vishal Dubey is a post-graduate in humanities from Sheopur. He started his career as a volunteer in Mahatma Gandhi Seva Ashram for 7 Years, he is also a founder member of “Muktibodh” through which he was involved in informal teaching to Sahariya Tribes of Kellore panchayat. Before joining fellowship he worked as Project Coordinator in Madhya Pradesh Vigyan Sabha since 2004. He has gone on exposure Trips to different places of India like Sadbhawana Rail Yatra organized by National Youth project and Indian Railways.
Ms Vishnu Prasad Jaiswal is a post-graduate from Dewas. He was a volunteer with Madhya Pradesh Rural Livelihood Programme (MPRLP) and Pre-testing of NFHS-3. As a Technical assistant of DRDA he has given his inputs to Mid-day meal programme in Hoshangabad. Since last five years he is associated with Synergy Sansthan in Harda working on health and development issues.
